Fire Extinguisher Training

This course is designed to give delegates the knowledge and understanding to operate fire extinguishers and extinguish fires safely.

Theoretical

• Causes of fire
• The triangle of combustion
• Classes of fire and method of extinction

• Common causes of fire
• Actions to be taken in the event of a fire

Practical

Delegates will operate fire extinguishers and extinguish controlled training fires.

Course duration is approximately 1 hour.

On completion of this course all delegates will be able to operate fire extinguishers correctly and safely. They will receive a certificate of attendance and a course information folder which is designed to be used to aid continuation training.

Training can be conducted in house or at a regional training centre and can be tailored to meet the individual needs of your company.
